Front sway bar install, are these the correct bushings?

I'm installing a new aftermarket front sway bar, and when it comes time to bolt down the brackets to the K member, I can't overcome the bushing enough to start both nuts. I've already installed the same companies rear sway bar with no problem.
Are these that tough to install? Seems to me the bushings aren't the correct size.

When I bought my front and rear bars from BMR they came with two sets of rear bushings. I called them up and they sent me the correct bushing.

The gap on the poly bushing would close if it were the correct bushing just being placed on the bar, before it was bolted in place.

looks like the wrong poly bushing.

I was told that the front and rear bars are the same diameter, so they wouldn't have been mixed up. They also told me that they are a bit of a PITA to get both nuts started. Need to apply a lot of pressure from the top to get the second nut started.

So I measured the ID of the bushings and they are 1 1/4"(32mm), but I noticed what I think is a slight defect from the mold with some extra material on the inner surface, probably not enough to make that much difference. Once I clean that up, I'll see if it helps.

I don't think that anyone sells a 32mm front and rear bar set, then again if you have them I guess they do?

Were you able to get the strap bolted in place?

Not yet, actually I was waiting on an answer for a question I had for Spohn's tech support before I went any further.

As you know, the stud on the K-member isn't threaded for about the first 3/16" or so and Spohn uses a collar on the sway bar to prevent side to side movement so there is a ~3/8" spacer that goes under the sway bar/bushing/strap to allow enough room for the collar.

So while I was trying to get both nuts on the other day, I had tried hand tight with no luck so I then went ahead and tightened one all the way down to see if that would help me start the other one. What I didn't like is that the stud on the one that is tight barely sticks out of the top of the nut, indicating to me that there is very little thread engagement, I'm guessing 2-3 threads. I'm not comfortable not seeing threads outside of the nut.

As I said, I'm just waiting to hear back from them, they responded quickly to my initial message from last weekend so I'm hoping their customer service comes to the rescue soon.

The rule of thumb is that the threads in the nut must be filled to be secure. Once the nut threads are filled what sticks out doesn't matter, but they should be filled.
