Exclamation ATTENTION: Los Angeles & Orange County - SLP LOUDMOUTH II Axle-Back FOR SALE!!!

UPDATE: 01/09/11

I have acquired a pair of stock L99 mufflers. Thanks Habu!

I will be removing my SLP Loudmouth II axle-back and posting pictures sometime this week. If you're looking for a nice set of mufflers to liven up your exhaust tone and don't want to pay $500+ for an axle back, then shoot me a message and we'll work out a deal!

UPDATE: 01/03/11

I am ready to buy your mufflers.

Do you have your stock mufflers/cat-back laying around in your garage? Wanna make a couple bucks off it?

Maybe you're interested in a trade?

Not ready to pay $500+ for a brand new axle-back setup?

Once I can secure a pair of mufflers, I will be ready to sell my SLP Loudmouth II axle-back. They have been used, but definitely not abused. I installed them on my Camaro in the early spring 2010, and have been out of work since the end of 2009. So I'm estimating that I've put about 5,000 miles on them at most.

I am currently working, but will be out of work again at the end of February. I'm not looking to make money on the deal, I just want to make a little money back on what I've spent and give someone on here a good deal. I work Monday - Friday, and I'm usually off by 2pm... my weekends are pretty much wide open. But I cannot afford to drive further beyond Orange County or the LA basin.

I called one shop that was recommended to me because they had a stock cat-back exhaust laying around... but they wanted $700 for it installed, said it only had 20 miles on it. And that is PURE profit for them because someone came to their shop and had a brand new performance cat-back installed - and left their stock exhaust behind. That's not what I'm looking for. I don't care if the exhaust has 50,000 miles on it.

Why am I looking to sell my SLP LMII and re-install stock mufflers? - Well, I am not keeping my Camaro and I want to return it to stock.

Let's make a deal!

10-12-2010... Can you help out a local C5 brotha?

Do you drive an SS/L99?

Have you installed cat-back or axle-back exhaust?

Do you have your stock exhaust/mufflers laying around in the garage?

I'm currently running with SLP LMII axle-backs, and I love them. But, I am in a situation where I may need these stock mufflers back on my Camaro.

I've been unemployed since the end of December 2009, so my schedule is open.

I also may be selling my SLP LMII axle-backs as a result - probably closer to December 2010. Of course I'd give the homeboy discount on the used SLP LMII.

If you're currently standing on the fence about modifying your axle-back exhaust... and you're looking to change things up in a couple months, maybe we can work a trade and a bit more of a discount towards the SLP LMII if you're interested?

Let me know what you guys think...

I appreciate your consideration

If you can wait until December, and can travel to San Diego, you can have mine.

Thanks Milk! Hopefully someone near the Long Beach/LA/Orange area wants to get rid of their stock exhaust. I don't mind going for a bit of a drive, I just hope not to have to make a day trip of it.

contact Ron at Zoomers exhaust in Irvine. Many of us bought his catback and got them installed at his place. When I had mine done, there were at least 4 stock ones laying around in his shop. I left mine there.

I'll be down in LA on the weekend of the 23rd. If you have somewhere in mind to do the swap then, let me know.
PM me if you want to talk price. I'm willing to buy your loudmouth if the place we are doing this at has a reasonable price for labor.

Thanks guys!

Milk - I don't have a shop in mind. I cut my pipe on my own out in the street in front of my house and slapped the LMII's on myself. I'll have to make a call and see what's best for me. I'll PM you if the weekend of the 23rd is good for me. If it's all good, I'll scope out a couple local places to see what they'd charge to cut your pipe and put the LMII's on for you.

BTW. I just realized, you have an L99. Mine are the LS3 mufflers. If you are still interested let me know. And if you would rather do this at your place, I don't have a problem giving you a hand. As long as we can do it in one afternoon.

ahhhh crap... I thought you had an Auto. No worries though... if I do indeed get my hands on a pair of L99 mufflers, I'll still have the LMII that I'll want to get rid of. I'll drop you a line first before I do anything with them to see if you're still interested.

No problem. Totally my fault. But for sure let me know about the loudmouth. If I haven't done a muffler delete by then, I'll definately be interested.
