Its an anomaly in the software that usually happens in cold weather.

CEL -> P0301, P0303, P0305

2011 v6 had been on the highway ~30 min in December when all hell broke loose - CEL and huge loss of power. 1st exit off to a gas station, let her sit for 10 min, started - CEL was off and she ran like always. Took her to Autozone - OBD showed P0301, P0303, P0305. I was below 1/4 tank - any idea how low the fuel level needs to be to induce this? Should I be asking the dealer to re-FLASH?

You may want to get a diagnosis with a dealership to make sure everything checks out okay. Please let us know if you decide to do this.

I am at the dealer now because CEL light came back on 3 months later.
It shows same codes (P301, P303. P305) happening less than one month ago - I've had no loss of power in the past month - the light came on a week ago - thought it might have been the K&N replacement filter I dropped in a few weeks ago
They cleared the codes and asked me to take it home.
I asked about SB PI 0284 - they this SB doesn't exist.

I just recently had the same experience. I was getting misfire on cylinder 1 and turned out to be a stuck lifter which ended up eating cam up. I'm supposed to pick it up today. They replaced all the lifters and new cam.

Its on my dealer paperwork.

Let us know how it works out.
Hey there TooCool5, I have the same ongoing Misfire, and CEL issue on my 2011 Camaro V6. always when its cold out, the ECM seems to trigger the delivery of excess fuel, car missfires, pukes black liquid out of the pipes and throws the misfire code.

Dealer did the de-carbon thing according to a tsb, but frankly that has nothign to do with the misfire as far as im concerned.

My dealer too (Canada) tells me the SB PI 0284 does not exist.

I searched the web for hte GM TSB's and I cant find it either.

Anyway to scan a copy of your work order (all the confidential parts blocked of course) so I can show the dealer that it does indeed exist.

or

Any idea if a general reflash of the ECM would achieve the same thing ?

thanks in advance

I had the issue of misfire one morning and the dash lit up like a Christmas Tree. Took it in and dealer said no. 6 fuel injector went bad. They replaced under extended warranty and had my baby back next day.

Sorry to bump an old thread but im having this issue as we speak. Took it to two different placed, Oreilly and Autozone and both told me the same thing. Misfire on cylinder 5. It started last night, and the weather here in west Texas has been brutally cold. Planning on driving her down to the dealership on Tuesday.
