I think it will perform better at Laguna then the ring.
The reason is simple: no long straight line where the Z loses time stuck at the top end of it’s speed limit like at the ring.
Won’t happen at Laguna.

I disagree. I think it will be even faster on smaller tracks where horsepower can't overcome its handling advantages.

After the Z/28 forms a time space continuum coming down the corkscrew it will run a 1:34:75.

The fact that the GT500 beat the ZL1 on that track tells me power counts, then you look at the boss 302 just behind the ZL1, and it doesn't make sense.
I'm guessing 1:38 even....

Randy only gets a day or so in these cars. You will never see the lap times touted by manufacturers from independent drivers that see very limited seat time. Nothing improves performance like seat time. I'll guess a 1'38" flat.
