19 inch Heritage wheels?

So, i've been reading everywhere that the Heritage wheels are 18', but when I hand measure them with a tape measurer, they are 19.5 inch. I measured from bead to bead.

And if I just do from inner ring to inner ring, it's like 16.5'. So I see no combination of 18' from measuring. Do I just have odd sized Heritage wheels?

I'm trying to measure so I can replace and measure the largest size RIM's I need for wheel upgrades.

Thanks in advance.

The 18" diameter actually comes from the inner barrel of the wheel, so doesn't include the lip that you're measuring. Also I can see in the picture that the tires are for 18" wheels (notice the tire size written on the tire that says "P245/55 R18" or something to that effect). Not sure what you mean about largest size rims for wheel upgrades - the rim is part of the wheel, so when everyone says "rims" they are referring to wheels (whether they know it or not). What diamtere and width wheel (or tire) are you looking for?

I want the largest wheel I can take without rubbing. Or basically filling the wheel well. with maybe like .5 inches to spare. This car has such large wheel wells. I've never had a car like this before, and want to take advantage of it.

Some say 20' is a good size rim.

From wheel well edge to tire, I'm 2 inches from the wheel well. So I figure I could go 20', with a same size tire height as existing, and it would fill the wheel well. But a cleaner look with lower profile tires with a low height could get me to 22' I'm thinking.

I have an Infernal Orange Metalic Camaro 2012 and I'm thinking about these wheels.

Milano Virtue 22 inch

My only concern is fitting properly, especially if I decide to lower it some as well, And the current Bore size. Incorrect bore size I'm told can cause unwanted vibration.

They are nice looking on this car, and very cheap for a set. $648 for 4. The tires will probably cost more.

The factory tire diameters (for the V6 and SS) are ~28.7" (20" wheels are 8" wide with a +35mm offset and 245 wide tires; rears are 20"x9" with +40mm offset) and you can mostly certain fit 22" wheels if so desired. Assuming factory size diameter tires you can lower well over 1" without rubbing (assuming appropriate wheel offsets); I'm not sure what the limit is for lowering with a stock size tire but I believe you can go past 1.5" without rubbing (although it's better for handling/control to not lower too much as you start to adversely affect the suspension geometry the lower you go).

How wide you go will affect the offsets you need as well as how much you can lower. For reference, the factory 1LE/ZL1 front tires are 285 wide (~27.9" diameter) on a 10" wheel and the factory wheels use a +23mm offset; the rear ZL1 tires are 305 wide (~28.4" diameter) on a +43mm offset.

Look for pictures and you'll see that a 1" to 1.25" drop with a 28.7" tire fits nicely and looks pretty slick. With a 22" you could go with, for example, a 245/35 tire, or 275/30.

Thanks for the information. A bit hard for me to digest, but I think I gather what you are saying.

The tires recommended for the RIM's I want are 265x30x22. This is for a stock 1LS. M6V6.

I think 20x9s with a 275 wide all around looks the best.

I went with the ZL1 replica rims. Here's how they look on my Inferno Orange 1LS.
