You should easily be in the 12's at a good track. My guess would be at least 12.6 or so on drag radials.

No way. Maybe an auto will run that

Your dyno number looks right on for your mods

If you don't hit a good light & shift right a dyno don't matter.

Oh for sure!! Just like the NHRA drags, the nitro cars and pro stocks like the colder denser air, it helps them make more power. My Camaro is the same, that's why in the winter here she runs SOOO much better than the hot humid summers..

If you are just looking for a good time slip, the light doesn't matter, you can sit there all day, unless you're racing someone, the clock doesn't start until you break the beam, then a good hookup and shifts will get you there. My Camaro ran a 12.68 before she was cammed with FBO's and a dyno tune. You should see high 11 for sure...

My car dynoed 40- 60 hp lower than CSP expected a few weeks ago when they did my cam and heads. They found a little bit of metal in the oil and dropped the pan and found a overheated rod and and worn bearing.
Another thing to think about but hope it’s not your case because it’s costing me a lot of $$$$

Damn, I’m sorry to hear that man. When we installed the cam, the oil pump failed that night. We inspected the oil after replacement and found what seems to be either extremely little/no metal in the oil. I’m thinking I may send an analysis off just to be safe though...

I feel like that number is 20-30 low on any day. You know what they say though "Dyno is just a tool". I have the same cam in my L99 and it runs real hard.

DATA LOG IT

Fuel up with good fuel of the proper octane for your tune and data log it and see if you can sharpen up that tune. Then when you have if right check the 0 to 60 times and 1/4 mile times.

That sucks too bro. And the worst part is the the metal from the spun bearing killed all the bee parts so I top of new rods and pistons and machine shop fees I have to replace all the lifters, cooler, bolts and even the cam had some marks on it.

Thanks brother. It was a $7k hit that I want ready for lol. But even at 43 years old my mom pulled though and took care of it. She just sold her house and made a profit so I got lucky.
But now I’ll have a brand new bottom end so the whole engine is basically new

Wow good for you sir! Yea you got lucky on that one. I don't know what I would do if I had to fork out that much for an engine repair now that I'm retired. Don't have that "extra cash" anymore. And NO I'm not going back to work!! ... lol. Been working since I was 13 full time.. Time to chill and relax and enjoy what I have worked for, so I take it easy on my Camaro/Ruby...
