Am I missing out?

SO I've had Ol' Blue for over 2 years now, loved every minute of it. She's got 53,000 miles on her now, K&N CAI, American Thunder axle back, gauges, fog lights, steering wheel volume controls, eagle eye halos, all added by me....

However, I attempted to download the OnStar app today, and was disappointed that it won't WORK for a 2010 Camaro, only 2011s and up..I saw other posts about how COOL the HUD is, which I would LOVE to have and just various other cool things available on later models...It's almost like she's 'out-of date' with all the cool stuff that's available now.

I wouldn't even consider trading her in, because there were less than 300 ABM LS style manufactured and I'm NOT trading her..so HOW COOL are these 'modern' features for those with newer models?? Am I missing out THAT MUCH?

I have onstar app and whoopie i have used it twice. Guess would be handy to unlock doors if needed faster. Hud. Meh no big deal.

I don't use the onstar app much. Haven't had to. Tried it a couple of times and that was it. As far as the HUD goes, I can't do without it, now.

The app was cool when I first got it. But it takes to long to unlock the doors. Much faster to just use my key

short answer, yes, you are missing out. but once you upgrade, a few years after that, there will be more gadgets/features that your newer model doesn't have. so unless you want to trade in every 3 or 4 years, keep what you have. be happy, and don't worry about newer models.

Can't answer the OnStar question.

Regarding HUD, I don't have it in my Camaro but I did in my Corvette. I really liked it & wish I had in the Camaro. However, it's not worth trading just for that alone since I can get the digital speed display - I dislike the '10's speedo. And if I was going to trade then I'd wait for the '13's.

Modifying my '10 for the HUD looks like a project that is over my head.

The app I could live without. I've got it, but don't really use it.

HUD is nice, but I can also drive my other cars without it.

I don't care for the "onstar app", nor the HUD, it's distracting to me. So I am loving my 2010 as much as the day we got it. I am not missing out. You are only missing out if it's something you want.

I have the trial onstar......never used it, downloaded the app just to see how it worked, it's cool but slow, haven't used it since, got a key fob to unlock the doors.
I understand the HUD is ok but for me it will ultimately get shut off because it would just be distracting for me, I hear you can install it aftermarket anyways and it works just as good.
Hang on to your '10 and enjoy it there really isn't anything on the newer Camaros that justify trading up and taking a financial hit, unless you are one of those guys in here that has a V6 and breaks under peer pressure and trades in for an SS, I swear......they will talk you into getting anything in here, folks just can't be happy with what they have.

IMO idk if it's missing out persay but those options are very nice to have, I like the HUD in my dads vette but I would rarely use it, but I'll agree with the above you have a awesome car, and it's ABM
