Race Ramps
If you are looking for a quick and easy way to work under your car, Race Ramps are the answer!! I just got these in and have been doing some
undercarriage cleaning. They are awesome. I got the 56" two piece style for $215.00 shipped, on E-Bay.

Then by all means, go to Oreleys.

The nice thing about Race Ramps is they do not buckle like the ones from O'Riellys or Wal-Mart, but that is just MHO.

These are not like regular ramps. They are solid, light weight, and the dimensions are right to fit under low profile vehicles. They are the best. Well worth the money IMO.

They also don't slide. They guarantee it. My car is lowered about 1 1/2 inches and I can just drive right on them.

No they will not slide at all. I have used other types of ramps with all of the problems that go along with them. I finally bit the bullet and purchased Race Ramps and there is really no comparison.

You're probably referring to Rhino Ramps. Do a quick search on here about them then come back and compare the two. Race Ramps are vastly superior to Rhino Ramps in every way. Not to mention Rhino Ramps are too steep to be of any use on the Camaro.

I was wondering if the 56 inch would work with this car. Sounds good. I think I'll pick up a set. Thanks for the info.

Other than not having to take the time to jack the car up and put jack stands under the car is there any advantage to these over a jack and some stands? Is one safer than the other or are they about the same?

They do look inviting and I've heard all good things about them. I may get a set before next oil change.
I can't stand driving onto bricks so I can get the front up enough to get my "low profile" jack under the car so I can jack it up high enough to get jack stands in so I can change the oil. Say that 3 times fast. |
