No but, he did size the nozzles based on my hp. Talking with Aaron @ GPI, based on the ratio of Water/Meth, we set the AEM Controller accordingly.

Rodney said I can do 50/50, 40/60, 35/65, or 30/70 water/meth combo's with this -- he did say if I go below that, I may need to switch out nozzles if I notice 'bogging'.

Rodney does spec the kit based on the setup (We talked on the phone and I gave him all my details).

Great support and he answered all my questions. I really like this setup for the LSA/ZL1.

He did say I could put 'dual' fronts on if I wanted to but, Dave Steck said its a waste on this blower -- Post Boost is where its at...

BTW all of this is to keep the tune where it is and NOT depend on meth ;o)

Ok, did a test drive just to make sure the meth setup kicks on. Was able to kick it on (LED shows up nice) and then verified no leaks. Tried to log but the beta version of HP shut off after 8 minutes.. gotta test that and make sure no connection issues...

Will log next time but so far no issues yet...

Hptuners has been having a lot of problems with latest versions lately. The scanner keeps shutting off with me. I had to go back to 3.6 to solve the issue. Hope they get the bugs out soon

Ok, that explains it. I installed the latest and this just started. Sucks as it was running when I stopped it but, stopped logging about 8 minutes in...

Damn -- well, good to know -- its still a beta version though...

My previous '4' betas worked fine...

I'll use the 'release' version this time and see if it does it -- didn't the last time...

Well, had a little bit of time in this heat to use the 3M sound deadening mat. Decided to do just under the seat area -- I took a test drive last night, put my hand on that area and you could 'feel' the vibration.

Gonna drive it without the seat in so I can see how much it helps...

Still have a couple of areas to cover but, I'll do that tomorrow...

LSA ProMeth Install Test

Finally able to get a log! I had to use the 'release' version of 4 from HP Tuners.

Anyway, here is a pic of things before I hit boost/meth:

Note the IAT temps! It was 95° out at the time I ran this test so, I'm about 23° over ambient...

Now, WOT and meth kicked it:

Now I'm 29° over ambient and almost full boost - Lambda is showing rich - which is what I expected. NO KR!

So, I'm going to tweak the settings a bit and have the meth kick on @ 7k Hz (50%) and Full on by 8k Hz (58%) -- that should put me in a good range...

so I basically gained 6° of temp under boost -- I'd say that's pretty damn good -- going from no boost to over 13 PSI...

Going to do another run...

BTW, the 3M sound deadening works! I drove without the rear seat and I could tell the diff big time! I have a few more tweaks on that and I'll button things up...

Just curious, what was your fuel pressure in that wot log? (Its too far down the channel list to see in the pic) but your 1050x's are 99%. Dont remember seeing that high when we were tweaking fuel @ wot.

Well, I just looked at your log from July 3rd, and it was close to 100 as well. Your pressure was 58. Can you turn that up to get 65? Maybe an adjustment on the dsx part?

I'm seeing some pressure drop to near 49/50 PSI @ some points doing WOT. I'll need to see if the BAP or FPCM needs adjustment.

I'll see what Dave says...

Damn, Dave is fast to respond!

Looks like the High Flow Fuel Pressure Desired needs to be tuned. I’ve sent him the tune/log file to review. See where I can adjust it in HP Tuners.

High Flow desired is set to 58 PSI so that is probably where it needs updating — under Fuel Systems...

He also took time to explain to me the higher pressure I see when letting off the throttle...very cool setup...
