Soooo. About that hot start... 90* today in Chicago, IAT was around 95-100*.....Drove 1.5 hours on suburban streets, and the car is still plagued with it. Did kick on the 3rd try, and with me popping my hood open for 1 minute. I’m usually stuck at a parking lot for 30min to an hour so it’s an improvement.

Ran my buddies CTSV coupe (750-800whp+-), and my car did quite well on the hwy. We were pretty dead even on multiple pulls, with 1 car out doing the other due to the starting speed. 50mph is my sweet spot, anything higher my cars screaming at 5500rpms and 2nd gear is useless.

I just wanted to clarify, unless your experiencing an over heating issue there's no need to pop the hood or wait for a cool down. The tune is referencing a table that uses Engine run time vs Engine coolant temp (plus a bunch of other variables probably) to adjust the Electronic Throttle Controller (throttle body) during a hot start.

It could take forever to get it perfect. Just press the gas pedal with variation and it'll start. You should not need to wait for it to cool, unless its actually overheated. Then tell your tuner, it probably needs more air.

As a reference, the stock tune is around 10grams. I'm around double that with the 427.

I added a big ground cable down low on the starter side and it helped a bunch with how fast the starter turns over the engine when everything is hot. Mine would drag terribly and then set off the service stabilitrac message.

I'm thinking about replacing the one at the battery as well to see if I can get it any better.

I sent over the initial graph you showed me. I’ll send over this 1 also. No overheating, coolant temps were normal.

Thinking about adding meth and maxing out blower. What pulley combo?

Current: stock lower/ 3.47 upper.

Thinking of the following:
- stock lower/ 3.25 upper
- stock lower/ 2.95 upper
- 10% under drive/ 3.25
- 10% under drive/ 2.95

Got a new tuner. Scheduled for March 24th @ Finishline Performance. All the tuners around me wanted me to change my injectors to IDs. Didn’t really want to spend another 1k.

I've tuned a bunch of FIC 127's, never any issue's with them.
Wouldn't hurt to take them out and have them cleaned though.

These babies are fresh. Not even 500 miles on them.

Ended up not going through Finishline, and going through Modern Muscle. Dropping off the car today. Needless to say, I’m F-Ing Excited.

Hopefully fix the following:

Choppy WOT (upper RPMs)
Hot Start** (PLEASE FIX THIS)
Improve drivability (wasn’t really an issue before, but I’m sure it can me improved upon)
Pulley down to max blower out. Probably a 3.33 or 3.47.

Nice!! I'm about 12 minutes away from complete street performance to drop mine off too. Doing E85 kit, aux pump, boost increase, and 93, E85 tune. Good luck.
