Is your first gear a 2.48? And 3.45 rear gear?

Thanks allot guys! Awesome day, yes I have 2.48 first with a 3.45! I am bearly getting out of second gear! Would be allot faster with 4.10s but this is street car so the I am keeping the 3.45s, just add some power and play with the suspension now.

Lol this is a option I might concider. I would actually like to do a 416-427 stroker down the road too.

Right now I am thinking intake work and a rear drag bar. Get my 1-2 shift sorted out and who knows, might see 11.5s!! I just drove 1.5hr home, 2600rmps doing like 65 and used a 1/4 tank. Not bad at all for a little street car, I am happy!

Its not cheap but later on down the road if you are wanting an Overdrive there is always the Gear Vendors.

Thats good stuff though, especially seeing your cam is a pretty mild cam. Im pretty jelly your still racing this far into November too. Even though even if the tracks were open here my broken POS is sitting in the garage .

You planning on staying NA?

Badass! !!!
Wonder what drive train loss there is going from M6 to a TH400? Question: why a TH400 vs a 4L80E?

No power loose since I went 117.7mph! Best with the m6 was 116.3, the th400 might show less on the dyno but who cares! Th400 I already had, the 4l80 is a more complicated swap and allot more money.

I would like to stay NA, I want to see just how fast I can go with this combo. I still can do a under drive pulley, manifold work, and suspension. Just fixing my 1-2 shift is gonna help too, even some front runners.

My goal is to have a 427 stroker, run 10s NA. But who knows blowers and nitrous sound tempting some times.

Very nice, is it an automatic valve body? If so, I could manually hold out the shifts they happened to fast by manually shifting.

Stock valve body, but I shift myself. I can hold second as long as I want, but first gear is shifting second at 6200-6300 by itself! I guess it's because I dont have 12 volts going to the trans. I talked to a guy at the track that told me to hook that wire up ad it will let me hold first like I can hold second.

My olds only spun to 5800rpms so I never new it would even shift without me doing it till now! I figure I should be 6700-6900 going into second, as a 7k shift into 3rd is what got me 117 traps! So I am definetly short on 1-2 right now
