I love the reflection of things in my glossy paint as I drive down the road. I love a long, shiny hood. My Escalade gives me this to a point, but I sat in that Red RS at our dealer the other day and was LOVING the view!

Scott, glad your car is yours today!

Last car I saw the hood in was my '89 RS. It always gave me a sense of comfort too see how much room I had in front of me, in case I needed it (crumple room)

I used to stare down the nose of a 71 Camaro with an L88 hood, in the 2010 it's like being home again (without seeing the round air filter sticking out of the middle)!
It's a very nice experience.

I like seeing the hood of the car I am driving!

I sat in a new Corvette after I ordered my SS and could see that hood. What a beautiful view!

I have a 3" cowl induction hood on my Mustang, so I always see the hood.

Yeah, I had the same experience going from the '06 GTO to the Shelby. It took a few miles before I got used to it and it still requires some conscious effort on my part to park it without tapping/scraping the front splitter on a curb.

if you have the gound effects option and lower the Camaro, you're going to likely have the same issues.

Cool, thanks Scott!

That's funny Scott, I did the same thing on my SUV and it's been much better this way than before. Also it's been about 10 years since I drove a car that I would see the hood when driving... I miss it! It's like riding a bike, piece of cake.
