Well I was going to spray but....

Well ive been so unsure what kinda mod I wanna do next. I was rolling around lowering the car or getting the Vmax. Well I got bored at work was looking up NOS kits. Well it seemed ZEX was the way to go. After doing some reading on ZEX's website they say not to use the kit if the car has already been tuned or not to use the stock plugs on a shot above 55. Well I wanted to run 75 on the street and 100 at the track. changing the plugs would be no issue. I would run my stock plugs untill I feel im going to be spraying then I would switch them out. The tuning on the other had seems like a pain in the ass. I would need 3 tunes it seems like. One for what im using now, two for the 75 shot, and three for the 100 shot. Seems like a pain in the ass just for a few seconds of fun.

Umm.... where did you read that?

The fastest v6 on the planet... Member HDRS runs a 125 shot and isn't even tuned.

Most nitrous kits are designed to work with the factory tune. The problem you would run into is with timing. Most tuners or after market tunes advance timing which is a bad thing for nitrous (not safe). So returning your car to the stock tune is a good bet. As for the plugs, make sure you run a non paltinum plug. A NGK plug generally works great with nitrous or without so they are generally a good bet. Grab a Zex kit and you won't regret it. I can buy the plugs no problem. How will the ZEX system really work with my car and its mods? I have a trifecta tune. I can turn it back to stock but wont I be Fu*king my self over all with running a modded car stock tune and 100 shot?

Or you could just ask Vince for a nitrous tune? The reason for no tune is because of the timing advance from the aftermarket tune. When you get a nitrous tune, you retard timing so no detonation will occur. How will you be screwing yourself over with a stock tune?

I believe he's saying since he has the mods, a stock tune would be a step back. Vince will shoot you a nitrous tune without much problem.

I have a nitrous tune from vince and stock plugs and run a 75 shot no problems... you dont need three tunes or new plugs although new plugs arent a bad idea...

I run a 100 shot with just Vince's canned tune and stock plugs....

Sent him a datalog from the dyno run, he said everything looked fine.....

I have the nytrex kit
