Here are the things that make me most sad about the NFL over that past decade. In no particular order:
- Larry Fitzgerald getting 1, ONE, chance at a Super Bowl and only 3 playoff chances. Mostly on a bad football team - Calvin Johnson with only 2 playoff chances and again, being on a mostly bad team - That the Green Bay Packers continually choke or get outplayed in playoff games against lesser teams and nobody bats an eye and calls them chokers, like it's forbidden or something - The 2015 season injuries, oh my god, what a bad year, and it's only half way - You may well hate the Patriots, and in fact you probably do, but not for 2 miracle throws by one Eli Manning (Tyree and Manningham) the younger Manning is just an average QB - Watching the elder Manning in 2015 - Anything having to do with Coach Andy Reid and a clock - Dez caught that ball folks - That the Raiders cannot get it together, I love the Silver and Black and the NFL needs them (they are looking ok this year.....) - The Browns, on any level - QB's being wildly overpaid because there are so few good ones - Thursday night football What things are you sad about?
