Ran a 11.77 at 118mph today, stock
I went to the track today to try and beat my 11.98. I smashed it! I ran a 11.77 at 118.67 mph. 60 foot was 1.79. Yes, I am all stock with stock tires, automatic. Nothing has been done to the car. Temp was 66.9 degrees and humidty was 66%. The key is to have the engine temps cool and shut off all the nannies and roll into the gas. You can't just punch it on street tires or you will just spin. Track prep was excellent. They had a big event there last night so there was still good rubber down. Engine temp was 145 degrees when I pulled down to the line. I made sure there were no cars at the line when I drove down there. So I was able to go immediately to the tree. Did a short burn out to get the water off the tires (22psi), the engine temp when I got the green light was 165 degrees. This car has plenty of power if you can keep the temps low. For those wondering BERT is a 2012 VIN #172 and has 5,347 miles on him. A friend got a video on his phone I will try to get it up on here if I can.

something tells me we will be seeing a lot more 11's soon, since the air is getting a lot cooler, which helps any car, but REALLY helps supercharged cars.

Getting faster and faster!.. i really thought 11.7's were gonna be as good as it gets on stock tires.. but I'm thinking 11.5 is very possible with lower humidity.
