Front 12v Port

Hi guys, so I never used the 12v Port (Top right of the shifter). I can recall I've used it maybe...4 times and it has worked.

Now it doesn't. I noticed that there is a little circular gold ring missing inside of this port. Because the other port inside the arm rest, has a circular gold ring and it works perfectly.

Anyone know if there's a part # I can buy or something I can use to make it work?

Remember : It's only a gold little circular ring missing *I'm sure it's what gives the current*. The Gold circular thing is inside the port that is located under the armrest, and works PERFECT.

Thanks guys!

Sounds like one of the connectors pulled out. You'll probably have to replace the entire unit unless you figure out what happen to the piece.

How would I come about replacing the entire unit ? Is there part #'s for this?

I want to avoid going to my Chevy dealership as much as possible. They are crooks and very unethical.

THANKS!

This is the part number 92230851. You google gm parts and enter the part number for their price.

Here is one site.

Thank you Caddy! You're a lifesaver !

Going to order and see how it goes. Not quite sure how to install it but should be pretty straight forward.

Thanks again!

The socket is in 2 parts. You have to put the ring on the body separately, after attaching under the cover. If you try to mount it to the cover as 1 finished piece you will destroy it.
