Havoc Rear Diffuser

does this diffuser need to be painted? I am looking for it to be that same flat black color as the stock diffuser. Does it come with a primer coat, or is it already a flat black.
thanks

It has to be painted, at least mine did. It comes with a basic primer on it and a little scuffing and detailing will get it ready for paint. They do not fit real well in some cases, it is essential that the retaining tabs are fully seated. I tweaked mine to fit quite good.

I got the CF option on the insert, and clear coated it to make it pop, as the hydro dipped insert is a little "dull" in my opinion. I also did not like the fit of the insert at the top center as it was not flushed out to my liking, so I epoxied a small spacer under the lip of the insert to the larger diffuser panel, pushed it together for an hour with a propped up chunk of wood, and that got it almost perfect.

The outer part needs to be painted. But before you paint it, get the fitment dialed in. Mine took a lot of work to fit correctly and I ended up having to repaint it.

Also my "carbon fiber" center section wasnt formed correctly. Took quite a while to get a replacement. But all is good now.

Once I got the bumper off, this one installed in 15 minutes and needed no "alterations" to make it fit.
