Odd Review Mirror Issue - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just had to replace my review mirror. I haven't seen any posts about this, so not sure what happened to mine.

In the below picture, you can see what looks like a mirror with smudges and finger prints. However, those "smudges" which is probably a finish issue are actually on the inner glass auto dimming portion (the portion of the mirror that you can see that is in adifferent color than the edges) and not on any part (outside or inside) of the external glass. they are not accessible without disassembly of the mirror. I have no idea how it got like that, mirror was only wiped down a couple of times.

Of course, the extended warranty excludes glass and mirrors, so this one was on me. No big deal, just a big mystery and hadn't seen it posted before. Anyone else?
