Finished my engine cover finally
Trying to get it done for our So Cal Camaro 5 fest but as everyone saw I didn't get it finished in time. After a week and some patience here is the final product. Not perfect but my first attempt and all with rattle can so it will be redone down the road with a spray gun after I finally buy one. Here is the rough product though from start to complete (missing a few pics in between).
Again this is all rattle can and my first real attempt at painting so be forgiving on feedback because as I quickly learned that the best lesson is diving in head first and from there correcting your wrongs...glad I decided to save the money and DIY. Enjoy my fellow family!!

I actually had a little screw up when painting the black sections because I didn't let the paint cure properly before trying to apply more coats the next day and it rippled on me so I had to primer, sand, primer, sand and redo it all over again.I ended up doing 4-5 coats of clear just because the heat under the hood I wanted to make sure wasn't going to penetrate to the paint. For my first attempt at painting it turned out pretty good I'm just not patient enough to do painting!
