I love them. I need to pick one up.
I used to have them on my 1979 Z/28 and it made the car look longer |

Might as well go to Pep Boys and get some flame stickers for behind the rear wheels at the same time.

It's your car so feel free to do what you want with it.
However I would never put those on a car...not my style...looks are subjective though. |

On the spectrum of style, it falls somewhere between the denim leisure suit and 32 inch wheels. I dont want it, but I like it in a nostalgic way.

I wouldn't, but that's me. I think it corrupts the aerodynamics of the downforce!

Not a fan, as the 5th gen lines don't have any straight line edges/angles on the car. Louvers are ok if you're going for that Mad Max From Thunderdome look.

On GMTool's ride they look good but if your 1LE isn't black, I think it may not be as "cool". My neighbor had a 80's Camaro in blue with Cragars and louvers and I always thought that car was nice lookin' but I probably wouldn't put them on my 1LE. I tinted the windows to keep the temp down. Although I think they would blend OK with the Ashen Gray paint it just isn't my style. Now if my neighbor (that was back in the late 80's) came over today with that car and offered to sell it to me, I'd buy it and keep the louvers. Just sayin!

I had them on my 85 Z28, you would be hard pressed to find one without them during that era and it doesn't look bad on gen5's. If you like it go for it!
