2010 Honda Insight...
So I was looking at the GT500 thread, and when I clicked on the link I noticed the new 2010 Honda Insight...
It's obvious how similar it looks to the Toyota Prius (EWW), but what I don't get is the Ford standard sedan grille thats goin on...again - EWW. what is honda thinking?... heres what: "Honda is planning for worldwide sales of 200,000 units a year with 100,000 going to the U.S. market alone. " this car is so wrong in so many ways...IMHO. but with an estimated price of around $20k...they may just pull it off... 2010 Honda Insight: http://www.edmunds.com/il/honda/insight/index.html

I've heard that the new insight won't even beat the civic hybrid in terms of fuel economy. I can't find any sources that give the insights estimated fuel economy though.

If that is true then they will NOT reach their goal, at least for 5 years or so when the auto market rebounds. Fuel economy would be the only thing going for it since it is a Honda and is not an attractive vehicle, but if that is just average then Honda is in for a sad suprise.

All the insight has going for it is a low MSRP. It gets worse fuel economy than the prius, and its hybrid system isn't as advanced.
