Does anyone know where these are manufactured?
I just picked up an IOM 2SS and am already thinking about a hood, but whenever possible, I prefer to pick up parts made in America. (in the effort of keeping total disclosure, I own a carbon fiber company, but I'm not big enough to take on hoods just yet.) |

Just out of curiosity, are the hoods carbon fiber? I just when onto the VISRacing.com and it says the hoods are carbon fiber

They are definitely carbon fiber....at least the ones you order directly from company are. Some online deals from random vendors that aren't well known could be selling knock offs though for cheap and probably aren't carbon fiber, and it's likely crappy quality. Stok with the real hood, and you should be fine.
