2021 Tahoe SS LT4 Rendering
It seems as if GMAuthority.com is into making renderings all of the time these days. Anytime that you go onto their site, there is a new rendering that has .01% chance of actually being produced.
All of these drawings are cool, but they will never happen. Barra and crew are into making 23 different CUV's all varying in size by ~1/2". Performance variations are not even on GM's radar. Sorry folks. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/01...e-ss-rendered/

It is slick; GM and Chevy have already looked at a Tahoe SS concept. Its my opinion that the Tahoe SS never materialized because they had a better platform for a sport SUV with the TrailBlazer GM360T. It is also my opinion that GM and Chevrolet missed a good opportunity in developing this platform for future products.
I am hoping for a resurgence in v8 cars and trucks, but from looking at the current trend it is doubtful. Cars in general have lost quite a bit of character and interest. Now most new products are just generic versions of a CUV platform.

Not a fan of that looks like a 2 door Ford Flex with a Chevy nose.

I've been a member for years and you always seem to have a serious attitude problem. Lighten up, bud. Even though I am a GM guy through and through, I will not blindly grovel at their feet simply because I exclusively buy their vehicles. If they make some questionable decisions, I will voice my displeasure.

I liken it to being upset over how Game of Thrones or Star Wars concluded. Most of those who take issue with it are the ones who obsess over what could have been and craft perfection in their own mind (or amongst a crowd of similar people). Then reality hits and they're disappointed in it, since it isn't as perfect as they literally imagined. To most with a more casual interest, they're fine with whatever happens because they never set unattainable expectations in the first place.

You had simply jumped me before on different articles when I refused to lick Barra's boots. I and several others were questioning the notion as to why GM refuses to dabble in performance variants, when I am certain that many of the GM faithful would love to see a Subaru STI & Focus ST/RS fighter, for instance. Where is a Blazer SS to combat the Explorer ST or SRT8 Grand Cherokee? I could go on and on. As it is, GM makes RS and Redline variations of a few of their models. They are nothing more than a wheel and sticker package that costs an additional ~$2,500. Hey, I'm not the one counting the beans at GM, but I'd like to think that I have a pretty solid head on my shoulders. There IS a market for performance variants and GM won't cut loose with any. I would love to have a Focus RS or an STI as my daily, but if it isn't a GM, I'm not shelling out the money. Extreme OCD will do that to a person. As it is, my DD"s have been Cruze RS's and they have been good to me. I would just like to have a little more spunk for when the Vette is locked in the garage during the winter months.
