trying not to go too ZEN

not every person is comfortable with performing all the work on their car. that is what shops and friends are for. we do need to push ourselves a bit out of our comfort zones to gain skills and knowledge. only you can decide what you want to try and what you don't.

like all mods, this is easy if you've got a bit of experience at this kind of stuff. if this is your first crack at adding wires, it is not easy, but is doable.

good luck in whatever you decide to do. keep in mind that Inferno's mod has a lot less parts.........wires and a switch.

I had a read through both your pdfs when I was lurking a few months back and thought those were pretty thorough, but I'm hesitant to cut a few wires and add in the relays (warranty and whatnot). I thought maybe a tap into the fuse connector might be a bit easier, but when looking at yours and Inferno1LE's method, it looks like you have to cut both sides of the block to accomplish it.
If you're interested, I have a few more of my plug and play kits available. Just plug in a new relay to replace the original, and install a switch... It's that simple. No cutting wires or additional relays. PM me if you're interested.

I actually just sold my last one. If you're interested, PM me. I can make some more, I just have to get the parts.

Now I have a question,

Say you have catless headers with the NPP, will having the flaps closed lessen the smell?

No I don't think so. I wonder if a custom exhaust shop could take apart the NPP muffler and weld a cat inside it.

Yeah that's an idea too but I'm sure it would still blow out on FI cars

I wanted to post the actual 3way switch wiring on the schematic itself to make it clearer for some:

What do you mean by control the exhaust? If you mean, adding the ability to force it open or closed, that's not even an ability from the factory.

So what exact functionality are you wanting?

Inferno1LE made his longer than needed to reach from the trunk to the headliner. I did the same as AG1LE. I routed it through the passenger side through the back seat, behind the panel under the small window, under the door sill molding, up behind the dash, through the passenger A-pillar and tucked into the headliner by the windshield to the spot you see in the picture.
