This upsets me. I have no problem with people putting the front fascia and grill from a ZL1. I have no problem with the putting on the rear defuser or front one for that matter. I do have a HUGE problem when they badge it as a ZL1.
Granted... you see it all the time with classic cars. I would guess that there are more Chevelle SS clones than originals out there.

I don't even own a ZL1, but if I did, and I paid the money to have one legit, it would bother me too. That's why I don't buy the knockoff Rolex watches my workmates do when they return from Hong Kong. I prefer to do without than to own a fake. It doesn't really bother me if someone badges a V6 with an SS - I just blow by them, but a ZL1 deserves respect.

I think just the fact if you pulled up next to a "poser" with an actual ZL1 they would die from embarrassment? I have seen a few "real ZL1's but no replicas. I have been down this path when younger. I gave Steve Saleen headaches years ago when I had my car converted at Saleen. I never got the certification but it actually ended up in a couple of their car shows. I have money now and can buy whatever car I want.

Whats the point of that? Any camaro owner knows thats not a ZL1, and other car owners don't even know what a ZL1 is lol.
