Set up a meeting place for your departure and other groups can meet up and cruise with you. We had large number going East to Fest I and met in Louisiana. Then going West to Fest II we had 80 cars lined up going down I10. Your leg will be he final run into Baytown. Should be fun. |

It's about 5.5 hrs from Golden Meadow to Baytown TX. About 2.5 hrs from Golden Meadow to Lafayette at I10

Please be careful when CAROVANING. Speeds can get out of hand when you’re trying to keep LOTS of cars in a parade. Remember YOU are not JUST the only people ON the road. I speak from experience seen busted bumper in Indy from a group that had an accident: (Also the cops will be watching in and around the event area. Keep the speed for the RACE TRACK: 0 Just a word of caution from a brother C5'er who cares!

Anybody know if San Antonio will have a CamaroVan? I haven't seen anything about it on their website.

One of the best things about the fest is driving along with other Camaros. Hope everyone can find some traveling partners. |

Lone Star Camaro started a Facebook Group page for the DFW to Baytown Camarovan. We will keep it updated thruout so if anyone wants to join us as we come down I-45 or into Houston you can and also know where we are and when we will be coming thru. If you are joining us or want to know where we are join this group.
