Clutch discs can "fuse" to the flywheel if they slip and get hot enough... Seen it in person. NASTY!

As for injectors OP, talk to Ted @ JRE. He is in love with the Injector Dynamics units he has...

Wow....everyone's bustin out 429's now! Word!!!

1.) 95's will put you in a safe duty cycle. Not a bad choice at all. Room for growth too...
2.) Do some good research on what clutch works for you. Cheap won't always be cheap in the longrun remember.

Guess it's time for something new again......looks like 429's are the new 427.

50lbs are way too small, what all went into your "429" (heads, cam, intake etc...) and how much power is it making. Weird 50s were put in, how did the tune and dyno go?????

HP= (injector size) ×* (# of cylinders) ×* (.8)--this applies to 80% injector duty cycle (see note below)
divide above result by your BSFC(.443 for N/A) (.533 if supercharged) (.555 if turbo)

Found something that really helps

I have no clue what is done beside the CI of the motor, however you're on the right track with that math above. There are nice calcualtors you can play with though such as RC's

http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx

Generally this calculator is on the safe side for calculations.

How much torque are you making on the engine, or plan to. This will help "spec" the proper clutch kit. I can make just a vague recommendation though, the RPS/Hendrix Street Slayer Twin Carbon/Carbon is a much better clutch, and will hold 800 ft/lbs, slip well, and no "fusion".

If you want to chat, I am free (cost wise, not always time wise, for anyone) give us a call 740-657-3278 or email bwright@ipsmotorsports.net. Hope I can help in some way

Regards
