There is no right or wrong answer to this question... But I've always liked the Camaro more and think it's the better car overall

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I just traded in my '09 Challenger for a '10 Camaro. The Challenger felt heavier and drives like a modern sport utility truck; like a Jeep. The Camaro feels much more nimble. I am very happy that I went for the Camaro.

I would wait for the CA6 at this point. It will make the decision much easier.

The new Scat Pack handles and stops much better than it used to and is faster than the Camaro although a little slower around a track. But as you said it feels and is much heavier. Dodge improved the old car, but Chevy started over in 2016. The 5th Gen Camaro is still a heavy (but stiff) platform GM was stuck with to save money, much like the current Challenger.

Question, is the problem with lower fuel trims still evident in newer models? And if it is, does it make that big a difference? I went to go drive a scat pack today and a camaro ss as well. When I drove the camaro ss, it was one of the most underwhelming drives ever. I drove it real hard and I just did not feel that it was amazing. Any ideas as to why? Because after that test drive I don't know if I can bring myself to buy the camaro. I'm looking for another to test drive so hopefully I can find one to drive and it'll change my feelings

With an auto Scatpack you don't need mods, slap a set of DRs on the car and you will be in the 11s.

I had a Scat Pack get me by 1/2 fender or less. I was on bald tires...he was new ..both autos. Traction wasn't great but both cars were in the same boat. I would like to race one under better conditions.

Maybe he was upbadging. An L99 is at such a great disadvantage is every aspect compared to the 6.4 hemi. Only 200 lbs difference, 400hp vs 485 hp, 410 tq vs 475, 6 speed auto vs a more aggressively geared 8 speed. Considering all these variables he should put a bus length on an L99, not less than a fender. Are you heavily modified?

I want to know this too. Another problem is the tires that the scat pack comes with. I just test drove one this Friday and the tires on them are garbage. They were okay for the RT but after driving the scat pack, those tires are way too small for the car. They'd be the first thing I'd replace if I end up getting one.

Heres the car. I posted this before for members to see. I wasnt sure but it was agreed it was a Scat Pack base model. It's the only one I've seen before and since that day.
