I was looking at these from stoptech before i came across this thread.

But, havent seen much info about them from people who have used them. Not to mention how they are on a track.

For some reason the link won't work but I know the rotors. StopTech/Centric are a good company I've been using their rotors for years. You can't go wrong. I prefer the 2 piece fronts though.

Odds are I'm doing the Brembo fronts and plain StopTech/Centric rears.

Turns out I might have to go with the OEM rotors up front and probably stoptech in the rear. I've looked all over for different options for the front and cant find anything in my price range. $550 for two oem rotors is a great deal. Time to buy em.

I've had my fronts turned once, Then I have had them replaced, I run racing pads on mine, at 68k miles the pads are starting to eat into the replacement rotors already.

I plan to get the APRacing/Essex kit on this page eventually.

Are you saying you had your OEM 2 piece rotors turned once? If so do you know how they were done? GM says it cannot be done?????????????

They don’t say it can’t be done, they recommend it not be done.

According to this GM says they cannot. Would be nice to know how yours were done.

Go back a few years in the thread and you will see a lot of people who successfully had them done. If you are trying to remove rilling or grooves in the rotor you should probably trash them, If you are trying to rid pulsing which is 99% caused by contamination on the rotor read the attachment.

I am running the Racing Brake 2 piece rotors. I picked up a set of their street pads and track pads. They work great. I have not had any issues on the street or on the road course track. They sell replacement rings when it is time to change them out. They are a little pricey but I felt it was worth the $$$.
