Catalytic converter

Does anyone know for sure if a cat from a 2013 camaro ss will fit a 2010. I sold mine and the guy claims they wont fit his car because of the shape of the neck that bolts to the manifold.

in 2010 and 11 there were no electric power steering units so they had a reservoir and most likely he is talking about that.....

I can't see how that would effect the cats. I asked him to test fit them before returning them but he wasn't interested he was just going by pictures on Google. I even sent the part numbers that were stamped on them before I shipped them. I'll post pictures when I get them back.

Catalysts are no where near any part of the steering system. There are different exhaust for different trim level Camaros, which would have different exhaust configurations.

The exhaust on these cars changed very little. They should fit fine

Yea, I don't even think hanger locations changed over the 6 year run. But as for manifolds and the cats? I think it understood that they were interchangeable between all the 5th gen years on LS based cars.

I think the biggest difference was when you go to the convertibles, and that was in tail end of the exhaust.

I looked at the parts catalog for a '13. The left converter part # is for '10-'13. The right (passenger) shows for '11-'13.

So I'd bet your '13 right is not fitting a '10 right.

In the '10 catalog, it shows the right converter as a one year only application for 2010 only.
