Injector Brand/Size recommendation

Any recommendations on Injector brand and sizing for Procharged LS3 based 427ci on E85? ball park 800-1000whp goals. Currently just a 427 with PRC260cc heads on break in tune. Tuner stated I didn't have enough injector for the dyno tune unfortunately on 91 and NA. My future plans are upgrading fuel pump to support e85 and F1A-94 ProCharger to be between 800-1000whp.

Currently on stock injectors and ZL1 fuel pump.

Been Looking at FIC (Fuel Injection Clinic) 1200cc (1350cc at 58psi) and ID1300x. Obviously Injector Dynamics is the gold standard but is it worth double the price? $1055 for FIC vs $1873 for ID. What are you guys using and recommend?

Either one of the "FIC's (Clinic or Connection) seem to work ok based upon HPT forum. Just make sure what you get has good, complete GM Data. I would work with your tuner on what he would recommend since any hiccups, and he will say you should have chosen a different one.

first thing is you need a real fuel system. Fore triple pump for your goals. As far as injectors go, I would go id1700.

I agree with both the guys above. Your current fuel system is lacking badly. I'd go with ID1700s and if not those the F.I. Clinic. Too big of an injector is bad too and will cause idle issues. Your tuner will have an injector preference especially if he has to setup the injector data and scale the tune.

Yeah when I get at that point I think I'm going to use FI Clinic because they are what most of the guys on HPT forum recommend. But like others said, you probably better check with your tuner first to be on the safe side because they all have their preferences. After you have decided on a horsepower goal I would again check with your tuner and a quick call to the chosen manufacture would be a wise decision.

I used AGPs injectors (AUS injection). Mine are 1400cc, they have the GM data on their website for HP tuners. Definitely a cheaper option than the FIC and ID.

You will need a dual or triple pump return style fuel system.

Not trying to sound rude to everyone mentioning fuel pump, that is obvious but I'm not at that stage yet. Fuel system upgrade is already planned when I get to flex and boost.

Hence the "My future plans are upgrading fuel pump to support e85 and F1A-94 ProCharger to be between 800-1000whp."

I guess I could have worded it better but the question was aimed toward people with similar builds and have the injectors on their build.

Spoke with the tuner when I had the break in tune done and was suggested ID, FIC, Deatschwerks or any good brand with good data so it was very broad.

Thank you for the suggestions though.

I went with ID1300x. They have GM data for HP Tuners.

Here is a video of Matt Sanford showing how to scale these exact injectors for Gen 4.

FIC (clinic) herre... had the connection but they sucked.. went with clinic @1200. Get something bigger for your future stuff of course. IDs are good too, but they hurt the pocket the bigger you go.

Like gtstorey said if you have a tuner, then see what they prefer. 1 shop I tried going to strictly uses IDs, when I had the FIC already.

Happy hunting
