Remember Centrifugal Superchargers are More Efficient Making HP with Less Lost HP to turning the blower, So More of the power gain goes toward the rear wheels, they also have much lower IAT so they will tolerate more timing.

Although you have 40 more LB torque at Peak and probably 100 or so More Torque at 2000 RPM so it is a completely different Feel.

Thanks for the explanation Ted, I do love my down low torque (thanks by the way!) still...pretty impressive numbers from those vortechs without even adding a cam!

I guess cam will have to be next. I don't know why I keep telling myself I'm done with mods

The pull above 3k is insane. Love this set up. Just walked in from work and going to take a drive to no where and back.
