ZL1 OEM clutch

I had my clutch replaced under warranty. I've searched around and can't find a definitive answer.

This is a OEM replacement clutch.

Is there a long break in period for the OEM clutch?

I've used monster organic clutches in the past and they say to break in the clutch for 500 miles without any spirited driving.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I'd just stay on the side of caution and say break it in. You're going to drive the damn thing anyway.

I'm pretty sure your answer is in the owners manual. I remember seeing something about it back in 2013 when I looked through it. I believe it's 500 miles

I looked in the owners manual. Nothing in there specific to the clutch. I'm airing on the side of caution. 500 miles it is. That'll only take a month or two.

Thank you. Good tip.
I had a monster in my C6 and they were adamant that theirs be broken in for 500 miles. I was really hoping someone would say that there's no break in for a stock clutch so I can give her the beans, lol.

Instead of taking any chances, I'd recommend breaking it in. You're still going to drive the darn thing.
