Are you sure it was supposed to be a 5 and not 15?

On the grand prix, it looks like the injectors are 15A fuses. #48 in this list.

Well hopefully the 15A stays and works fine. Maybe add a little sharpie'd 1 in there for future reference

If you got a z28/SS you got 4 wheel disc brakes. If you got the RS package the rear disc brakes were an option, I think they were an option on base cars also.

I have the 1996 Camaro-Firebird Helms Service Manual set and from what I can see in the wiring diagrams, there is no dedicated amp on the convertibles.

This most likely means that the amp is buried within the stereo head unit.

On my 1996 SS coupe Bose system, the amps are attached to the 3 rear-most speakers.

thank you that clears a lot of stuff up. so if i was to install an after market amp would i wire the head unit to the amp and then the amp to the speakers or something different?

I personally do not know the answer (not qualified).

There is a "Audio, Video, Bluetooth, Navigation, Radar, Electronics Forum" technical forum section within the Camaro5 site where I am sure you can get the correct answer to your question.
