Turbo guys, which oil pump you got?

New setup is a 416ci with low mount twins (with scavenge pump). Trying to decide between high volume or high pressure.

LME put a Melling 10295 (high pressure, not high volume) in mine. They knew it was going to be a twin turbo application. No issues at all and it runs well.

Pressure will be largely dictated by the relief spring and bearing clearances....and of course pump volume too.

Mine must be loose as feck though, LS2 block with oil squirters and a 296, oil pressure was never as high as I'd like, although it was always consistent.
So I rebuilt a couple of years ago and threw in a Melling 10355 DOD pump...I figured I'll throw some oil at it to get the pressure up !!

Didnt make a damn bit of difference lol

Watch the latest engine masters, they tested oil amounts and you will see why it didn't make a difference.

Hi Volume with the regular pressure spring that I was suggested.

I use stock ported gm on all builds, you should plug the oil return in the oil pan.
