RS/SS Headlight Bulb Removal?

So recently the bulb went out in my Camaro with the RS headlights and was wondering how to remove the bulb. I actually know where the bulb is and how to get to it but do not know how to actually pull it out of the headlight assembly once you get the cover off. Any answers to this!?

Take it to the dealership and cash in on that warranty. I can't imagine this wouldn't be covered.

Take it to the dealer. I had a rear tail light go out intermittently on my RS and I brought it in. They might give you crap depending on the dealer because its a bulb, but it does have minimum amount of life its guaranteed for which it most certainly won't have reached yet

Not yet...I was one of the first 6th gens, took delivery back in December 2015...my 3 years of ownership is not until December this year...unless you are over the 36,000 miles with no extended warranty.

The only thing is I swapped the headlights to the RS headlights because I have the LT model, bought the headlights from eBay and the wiring harness from Gen5diy. It probably won't be covered by the warranty. I messaged the seller to get a new Phillips xenon driving bulb and he is sending it out however I just don't know how the original bulb comes out of the housing?

The video link brought up something else with no videos. It's ok though I was able to take out the bulb! However when I swapped the bulbs to see if it was a bulb issue the light still did not come on. So both bulbs work, I could have a bad harness or bad headlight I have no clue.

I just wanted clarification on this... Do we have to remove the front bumper cover to remove the headlights?

Yes, unfortunately, it is not too hard but very time-consuming! This is only if you need to remove the whole headlight, you do not need to do that just for the bulbs!
