Tuned 2011 SS threw code P0336
My 2011 SS/RS has just over 60,000 miles. It has been a garage queen for the last few years. I keep it on a battery tender and probably don’t start it as much as I should. It is tuned by Jannetty, headers, exhaust, and CAI for performance stuff : that’s the history.
The only recent thing I’ve done was got a used rim/wheel because I had one that was bent. I put it on, took a spirited drive and came home. I stopped in the driveway turned it off and let it sit for a few minutes. Got back in to start it and it didn’t want to start, at first it just wouldn’t fire, then it seemed like a weak battery. Threw all kinds flashy dash lights, stabilitrack and all nannies stayed lit but it did eventually start and I backed it into the garage. I checked codes a while later and only P0336 was there. Battery is the original one, gas may be bad?, and that’s all I can think of. Hoping this isn’t something serious. I’m going to get a new battery next week. Any thoughts that may help? Thank you!

I would attempt replacing the battery first. 6/7 years with original is pushing it no matter how well maintained. Low voltage issues in the gen5 is notorious for causing a variety of electrical issues. Good luck

Thanks for the replies folks! I'm betting on the battery also and that was my first thought; just wanted to be sure and get some others' advices and experiences.
I'll post back with my experience.
