285 35 front tires???

I've got a 2016 2SS with MRC and Phastek springs. I just got a bubble in one rear tire. Gonna be getting new rims in a few months and wondering if I can get some 285 35 20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for the rear now and throw them on the front when I get the new rims. Should I just get 285 30's?

You'll risk rubbing putting on a tire slightly larger than stock.

I am about 7/8 lower. I know there is a risk, just trying to figure out the best tire I can use now on the rear and move up front in a few months

I have 285-30-20 Pilot Super Sport K1 with Eibach 1" springs on MRR 650 20x10 +23 Wheels. under severe braking I barely rub. I don't think you will be able to run 285-35's up front. to note I run 325-30-20 Pilot Cup 2's in the rear on the 20x11 +43 rear wheel. no issues in the rear.

Hey Stephen, do you have MRC? Do you guys think I'd be better off getting some 275 series tires?

I have 285/35 with 1.25” drop 1LE spec wheels ( NO-MRC ) with no issues ..

If you have MRC 285/35 WILL rub

Does 275/35/20 should fit with MRC (not lowered)?

It might fit but will probably rub - you need a 30 series ideally

Since where in this topic. What’s a good size to run in the front if I have a 20x9 front without rubbing issues?
