HF cats
i know there is issues with them failing on SC cars, are they ok to use on a turbo car? i have the turbonetics kit that reroutes the exhaust back up to th turbo after the cats.

Turbos can be worse than a blower. Cats don't like anything that will send a boatload of fuel at them. You might be ok if you stay around 8 pounds and don't run the AFR down to 11.5:1 very much.

Aside from carb compliance. the main reason they route after the cats to the turbo is probably because the turbos become a choke point and create more heat. Cats don't like crazy heat. The cats also will cause back pressure leading back to the turbo causing more heat etc.
Ask any Subaru owner about cats and aditional boost lol

i only want them so that i can pass the OBD11 car readiness to get smoged. i have no cats right now and no CEL because of the tune, but the OBD11 will show sensor not ready when they scan it. i can put my stocks back on for the test and remove them, but i am would like something more permanent so i dont need to keep swapping ad tune etc.

I don't have em on mine but I also don't have any sort of inspections in my state.... The rear 02 sensors can be turned off easily in the tune.
