It gets pretty complicated when the power levels get this crazy. My car has an electronic boost controller so it is pretty easy to adjust boost and timing with HP tuners. The car spins up the dyno so fast it is hard to get it fully into boost. If you look at the graphs it is hitting peak boost as the dyno shuts off. From actual run data logs it holds peak boost much longer and the numbers ended up being a little higher (like 29 pounds of boost) plus we gave it a little more timing because it was so strong and had no knock at all. Expect I was peaking around 1600 whp on the best runs at the mile.

Here is a 4th gear dyno run with conservative timing and boost around 27.

Yeah I’m familiar with the boost controllers and boost by gear; hard to measure power with builds that are Turbo/Big blower and over 1000+ whp. Your build is definitely one of the baddest I’ve heard of in 5th ZL1s.

Great job Jess. It's gonna need a standalone soon so you can ramp into the power and make it more controllable. (smaller turbine housings too) We've got ProEFI's in stock

I'm selling the car if you guys know any power freaks interested. I've got 5 cars and this one pretty much just sits so why not let someone else enjoy it.

Yep, those stock wheels have been over 200mph several times without a hitch.

Nice car !
I just told my wife last week she can't buy the new car she deserves for the same price and now I'm considering my max bid
Good luck with sale. I hope it quickly gets above 50k so I don't have to try to 'splain to the wife why I'm getting it. Which would actually cost me $100k as the only way to keep the peace would be to buy her car also. Married guys know what I'm talking about.

Your car is completely insane. Hopefully somebody grabs it, screaming deal for an instant half mile/1 mile event winter.

Hard to believe that you are selling it. Especially with all you've been through with it.

As I watch the bids go up and think about all the ups and downs.... It will be hard to watch it roll out. I don't think I have had near as much fun in any other car....or been as frustrated.... the cars has 11,000 miles and is on the 4th motor, 3rd transmission and probably the 4th or 5th clutch, 3rd rear diff....it has been a bit of a money pit. Everything in it now is the best money can buy so it is a bargain.... the reserve price is less than what I have in the last engine build.

Why so many engines and transmissions? I thought turbos, once properly installed, are "safer" than superchargers as they rely on exhaust rather than the cam for power.
