100K

Finally hit 100 K today in 7 years, 9 months.
Third set of tires.
Original brake pads.
Super tech full synthetic every 10,000 miles.
The ONLY problems I’ve EVER had is the L rear brake lamp has burned out x2. Warped front rotor. Total repair $5 for bulbs and $15 to turn the rotor.

And the kicker, original battery.

Fastest I’ve gone in it was 141 mph.

It’s been fun, looking forward to the next 100k!

I don't think I can keep any vehicle for 15 years. What brand oil filter do you use and did you change it more often than the oil or at the same 10k interval?

I use the 10$ Fram filter from Walmart. Every 10k oil change no sooner or later, same filter for the 10k. At 5k I usually have to add about a 1 1/2 qts of conventional. My son’s gonna be driving here in 2 years. He’ll probably get the Camaro as a hand me down. He really wants it.

Definitely change that battery. Time is not friendly to them.

I’ve been thinking about that. Doubt the battery has much life left in it. Watch it shit itself tomorrow. Haha.

That's awesome. I've got 78k on mine and glad to hear of no major issues. I use mine for a daily driver and love every minute behind the wheel. I'm hoping to get to 150,000 miles with no major issues.

My sister recently turned over 235,900 miles in her 1999 Lumina.

That’s awesome! Car ownership doesn’t get much better than that. You definitely didn’t get a Monday or Friday car.

Hey, where's that guy who is supposedly some "certified" mechanic that stated these engines (3.6L) are pieces of junk?

Oh, I remember it's "jerTM". Hmm, for such a "bad" engine that sure is pretty darn good miles with no issues.

Maybe these little V6's are actually good engines after all.

How about wait until about 114k and then watch the V6 ...….
