8 lbs is plenty safe as long as your tuner did his job and made sure you will never go lean, EVER. The boost isn't so much the killer as is your AFR.

A friend broke a piston the other week with a roots style, It only made about 590 ish rwhp 6 speed (its bound to happen once and a wile) he asked me to check out his tune since he had a another local shop build it for him ( I don't sell Maggies) did not look like his tuner was trying to push it ...i say bad part

8psi can make 500 at the wheels, or properly built, 650+ at the wheels. Of course, the 500 hp version will live longer as long as both are tuned properly. I'm over 670 on a TVS 2300 (little over 8psi) and so far so good. Quite a few full throttle runs with no problems after about 4K miles.

We are running a TVS2300 and broke the output shaft to the tranny. We blame inferior parts...lets just hope they warranty it out

Maybe they won't notice the 2300 sitting on top of the motor Manual or auto tranny? What was it doing when it broke? Wheel hop?

well, I can tell you....got maggie installed and I got the car back on Saturday. Had a nice McD's Breakfast Meal #11 with extra Hash Brown on the way to get the car. Got the car , got on the highway on-ramp, hard on the gas in 2nd gear, got thrown back in the seat which caught me by surprise which made me lose some internal control...well, I broke wind.
