I get it. I will think about that. Definitely don't have money to burn or throw away. Lol. And I am thinking about gears for next year. I am contemplating 3:45 swap , or 3:73's.

I have a Vmax tb and I like the throttle response. I also have 3.70's which I really like. Keep us posted on your header results. Good luck.

Ouch! That was quite a smash- up from a deer. Glad you got it fixed and improved though. Looks great now.

Yeah, it will be at least until this weekend until headers are installed. As far as throttle bodies, I was looking for a Bo White version. Have heard good stuff on them. And as far as gears, that will be a while off. I know people will say the 3:45's are a waste, but I know on my 3rd gen I had one with 3:27 and one with 3:45 , both 305 5 speed manual, and it was definitely a difference there. Those or the 3:70' s are what I am thinking about at least for now.

Pricewise I think gears is your next "bang for the buck" - mine has 4.10s but is a 6 speed. Gears will wake it up.

I finally got my headers and high flow cats installed tonight. I still need to upload my tune from my computer to my SCTx4 and upload to car though. Been doing it after work in the evenings. Took me 3 evenings to get it done all by myself on jack stands in the garage.

When I had my SS A6 vert , the best bang for the buck was the 3.93 rear end gears WOW !!

Nice. Did you tune it and how does it run? The full exhaust with headers, high flow cats and catback with a proper tune should be good for 40-50rwhp. A trans tune is a must for the L99's.

Rctreece,
Now I know what my Vert is going to look like when I am done. (Though not really ever done).
I have wanted the same hood and sport bar for a while and now I am more convinced on the ground effects.
Thank you

Oh I absolutely had it tuned. Read too many things about that. DynoSteve remote tuned it. It runs superb ,sounds better, comes off the line harder. It is all around more fun to drive now. Really glad I did the headers and cats.
