SS4VVT from GPI build inside!

Well I've been lurking the forums for 5 years or so now, never really had much to contribute was just using the forums to learn a lot about about the car over the years, figured I'd share my mild build now!

Went to GPI down in Arkansas a couple months ago and it was the most pleasant experience with Aaron and the mechanics there, made the 8 hour drive with my wife and it was totally worth it. I went to GPI with the expectation of getting an SS3VVT, ported heads and their radius rod manifold (I just call it a ported manifold lol.) However after getting there and talking to Aaron in person, he decided to hook me up and upgrade me to the SS4VVT for free! Which requires fly cutting the Pistons and milling the heads, which the mechanics at the shop did on their own time which I will be forever grateful for!

All in all I ended up leaving with the SS4VVT cam, ported/milled heads, ported manifold, 3.91 gears and a circle D triple disc 4k stall! I went in there with full bolt ons and tune, was making 375rwhp before on 93 octane, after leaving GPI I put down 490/436 on 91, had to go down Octane since Kansas sucks and I got stationed here after Virginia :(. My tune from Ryan is absolutely insane, the transmission tune is a complete monster as well, people tell me it shifts as fast as "those GTRs in 1320 videos" .

Haven't been able to hit the track with welds and slicks yet but I'm really hoping to touch 10s with the build I have and I think it's very doable.

At the end of the day, i couldn't be happier and I couldn't have gone to a better place for the build/tune. 490rwhp without an UD pulley and on 91 Octane and a bad CAI (so to speak) is amazing. Car runs incredibly hard, even from a roll there isn't much I'll lose to that isn't 650rwhp+.

Hopefully this is the right section for posting this lol, if the post gets any attention I'll post videos/pictures of the car and of the dyno graph if anyone cares!

Full build is as follows:

Ss4VVT cam
Ported/milled heads
Ported manifold
Vmax CNC ported TB
K&N Typhoon CAI
Kooks 1 7/8 LT headers with HF cats
Magnaflow X pipe with deleted resonators
Borla ATAK at the end

BMR Trailin Arms
BMR Toe Rods
BMR front/rear sway bar
BMR 17" compatible LCA
BMR 1.25" lowering springs all the way around.

Made 490/436 on 91 Octane, could have been over 500 on 93, had to settle for not the best compression ratio on 91.

Possibly something else I'm forgetting lol.

I would love to hit the track with you guys, I'll take you up on that if I'm ever down there! Yeah I'm about to drop the $1300 on weld wheels and 28x10x17 Bias Ply Hoosiers! I can't even begin to get traction below 40-50 right now lol, but I'm addicted to driving this thing now!!
