Stock springs vs stock shocks

So....No more autocross! Need a shock that is better matched to the
stock springs for a less harsh ride. My bigger sway bars stay, not an issue.
KYB ADJ? Bilstien B6 probably still too stiff. Any thoughts?

Would rather put Pedders 220032 & 220035 springs on the car instead of changing shocks. I used them 4 years ago on another Camaro and they both rode well and handled well. However springs with those rates(130#,433#)
don't exist.

Check out QA1 shocks. I've got their rears on mine. Very statisfied. They use the stock springs and are adjustable. See post5 in this thread

I got my 2015 with 14,000 miles and immediately wished for stiffer shocks the first time I hit the backroads. The stock struts rebound dampening is too loose, compression is okay but also a bit too soft for real driving. I would say a few things, but not that the stock struts are stiff. The soft "NVH" friendly shocks are probably causing your rough/bouncy ride.

Bilsteins have been wonderful on both of my cars (1970 240Z and 1992 Caprice) that have them, very smooth, they are well controlled and never harsh, I actually wish they were valved stiffer for my Caprice, and will revalve them at some point when the car comes apart. As a lurker but recent poster, I'd reccomend to talk to JusticePete as well, he seems very knowledgeable and helpful.

How many miles are on your car? Do you track it, or are you a weekend warrior? My car feels a bit soft/uncontrolled to me, but only because it needs stiffer dampers to control the movement, it has never felt harsh, but I've also had a few well sorted motorcycles and cars on coilovers. To add in the old man factor, I even have a few crushed discs in my back and cannot drive vehicles with a bouncy or harsh ride quality.

I feel that the stock SS shocks/struts are a good compromise between ride quality for slow people and not quite bouncing off the road when driving quickly, however I'd go 20-30% stiffer on rebound. I will be trying 1LE or Bilstein shocks when mine start to change.

Also, if your rearend is breaking away too abruptly when the weight transfers, try 0 toe or .10" total toe out (track only, drives like shit on street from my experience.)
