I just got mine installed 3 days ago along with a Borla axleback, Eiback
lowering spring's and let me tell ya..the Hurst was the BEST thing out
of all...Definately worth the money IMO..I'll never drive another stock shifter
now..BTW...I dont have any noise or vibration either with it..maybe the
installer's done something to eliminate this..."Tommy Pike Customs"
Yeh...I will agree with other's...The Hurst ST is the BOMB!!!

I just installed my Hurst a couple days ago. I was gonna go with the Barton but honestly preferred the looks of the Hurst. It definitely has a positive feel, but if you get on it hard then it IS going to rattle. I see others say theirs does not rattle, I wish I knew what differences there are between theirs and mine because they install only 1 way. I am considering a modification with sound deadoning material or something. Good luck

I love mine! Yea, it does vibrate slightly when accellerating hard but I'm so hyperfocused on the RUSH that I really don't notice it! Shifts are short and accurate. No noise or vibration under normal driving. I have the Hurst T-handle and it feels and looks great! Sorry but I don't have a picture and it's covered for the winter. If you would like a pic, let me know and I'll uncover it.

Got mine about 2 months ago. Went with the chrome stick and white knob, as much for the retro look as well as better shifts! A few old gearheads said I should put the black knob on it, but a few more said leave the white one. It does chatter a little under hard accel. but hot rods are supposed to make noise!! This ain't your father's Oldsmobile!!!

I got it. Rattles a bit during hard accelerations. Used the white ball that came with it but the 6spd pattern on it is stupid redundant. There is a 6spd pattern already on the console. I replaced it with the anodized alum knob with Hurst logo on it. Much better IMO.

There is nothing hotrod about a stock 2010 Camaro.

I've got 3k miles on mine and it gets smoother as time goes by. The rattling or vibration is noticeable when its cold but once its warmed up it goes away for the most part. Very happy with it!!!!!

Oh yeah forgot to mention, yes I am happy with the hurst shifter. I agree, gets even smoother over miles. Love the short and positive shifts!

I think my installer might have wrapped Dynamat around the shifter.
Trust me..even under heavy acceleration, it does NOT vibrate. I'll call
him Monday and ask.

In a previous post somebody put a thin piece of teflon that he cut out of a kitchen utensil between where the chrome shift arm bolts to the shifter and it helped a lot for the rattling.
If you want a white shift ball without the shift pattern Hurst has a new one.

LOVE IT!! yes, it's worth it! I didn't use the white Hurst ball though - don't care for it or the chrome arm. Used OEM...
