....Are you kidding....I would sooooo rather have the stupid sticker recall!!! Than to deal with the headaches of the convertible. It really is an intricate design to maintain the body lines the way they did, unlike all the previous ones....so because of that and the lack of experts..it is a complete hassle. Based on my experience...my dealership did a good job so far as I can tell, but am still testing it out, final judgement is not in yet....then again this was not their techs first one.

I think we both know the answer to that one.

Waiting on regional service rep to make a decision on the next step. I am calling tomorrow to find out what the hold up is.

Called the dealer this morning, the factory rep hasn't gotten back to him yet. In the meantime he has looked around and nobody in this area has anyone that knows how to fix it.
I am hoping that since that is something they cannot control they will send a engineer to work on it.

Since the temperatures were warm today I decided to go out and see if I could see what the problem is. I found a few things. One was the top is mounted 1/4" farther forward on the right side than the left. Second there is more body clearance on the left side than the right by about 1/4". Third when you put the top up before it is latched the front is about 1/2" skewed to the right. Latching the top forces it into position.
It is still not going down far enough to install the tonneau even after pushing down on it. I also noticed some paint damage on both sides in the top well area.
All will be brought to their attention when I make a visit to the dealer on Monday.

I'm simply speechless. Good luck to you - let us know how it goes.

Amazing.....surely there's atleast one dealer in Tn that can work on a convertable. I hate incompetent people. I had four or five Chevy dealers tell me straight up they knew nothing about working on these cars, which I completely appreciate their honesty. Hopefully they'll make it right.

Weather turned nasty yesterday so I called them instead. Things are on hold until spring when they can recheck it and if the issues are still there then I will get another new top and frame.
