Chances this is totaled?

Sucks. My baby got trashed by some thieves trying to steal something from my garage. Pulled a 1200lb safe OVER the side of the car (also blew out the wall of my garage). 7600 miles dammit!

Looks like the wheels are fine, as is the suspension - it was tearing up things next to the car and utterly scratching the car...

2013 ZL1 with 8k on it.

Images all at http://thedragonbyte.com/other_stuff/images/wtf/ if for some reason they're not loading.

Sorry for your troubles. It does not look totaled, but it does have quite a bit of damage.

People do suck sometimes. Best of luck.

Absolutely sickening to see this. Hope you catch the low life's that did this. I'd doubt it's totaled it but yeah a lot of damage. Hope they work with you on it under the circumstances.

Wow sorry about your troubles. How did they blow out the wall? Any pictures? Did they get your safe? Thieves just keep on getting worse and worse.

They tied a chain around the safe, put the chain on a flatbed truck, and pulled REALLY hard. Pics are at http://thedragonbyte.com/other_stuff/images/wtf/

Didn't even get the safe :p

I really, REALLY hate theves. Sorry you had to go through this. The car isn't totaled, she'll be fixed within a month or so IMHO and be good as new.

Wow that really sucks. Maybe your homeowners insurance would cover the cost of the car repair.

Wow they were really after that safe!! People suck, is safe viewable from the street? Almost put in my garage but didn’t like it in sight.

I would not think totaled. Even if it was I’d buy it back fix it and keep pictures. That is all superficial.

Wow they did some serious damage to your garage. I think they almost totaled the garage. Was the safe visible when the garage door was open? If it wasn’t you may want to start thinking about the people you have had in and out of your house. The thieves where to well prepared so I would think they had some serious intell.

The neighbor's next door didn't see or hear anything?

That had to have made a huge sound when they busted up the side of the garage like that. I think the fender will definitely need to be replaced, but the other damage looks like it could just be buffed out with rubbing compound. I hope.
