I never understood Chevy's ordering process with regards to color choice. It's the same thing with the COPO cars. You can only get them in select colors. IMO they lose sales, not to mention future collectibility. There are people out there who are not brand loyal. They are on the fence as to whether or not they'll be buying a Z/28 or a GT500. Same with a COPO or a Cobra Jet. They should offer the full color pallette.

How do you know it's for sale if it's not listed on their site? Would I have to call the dealer?

I think the yellow would have been perfect as well. I missed out on a yellow 1970 Z many years ago and that car still haunts my dreams.

I talked to the dealer. It's a beautiful car. I've always been a sucker for Blue. It has a little over 1000 miles. They're asking $70000

Matt Berger sure is full of himself... $70k? What a waste of showroom space

That would explain why it's still there. I thought at $50k it would move pretty quick.

At $50k, because it is unique being blue, I think it would sell - assuming it is a full glass out paint job and not just what you see, with door jams and other areas left in original black color. If done right would be nice - if just a nice color, with quick spray job, then it may sit a good long time.
Given owner is 4th generation dealership owner, likely has great resources and no need to sell the car. So unless he no longer has room for it, then his his price will probably be, well if we can get "this" for it, sell it, if not just keep it here to draw people in! |

For $50k, it would be a nice addition for someone, but not at $70K

Love that color!
Had it been available from the factory like that, it would be my #1. Followed by silver, then AGM. Even my wife digs that blue! |
