Just got my Camaro yesterday, and painted the bezels last night, and installed them today as well as the blackout light covers.

Thought Id share the process with you guys.

How was the installation of the covers? About how long did it take?

Much better! While you're in the painting mood, grab a can of bar-b-que 1000 degree high temp paint from your local hardware store and hit those galvanized suitcases up under that rear valance if you're not going to change out that exhaust anytime soon.
One of the guys here did it while working toward and aftermarket exhaust and it looks so much better! Just a thought.......... Lights look good!

Got the tail light covers Here:
http://rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1702

They are basically smoked plastic pieces cut to exact size, and very sticky tape on them. You just remove the back side of the tape and put them right on. And, they are glossy just like the paint, so it looks great.

The covers didnt even take 3 min because the plastic was cut to the exact size and the tape was already on the back of the covers ready to go.

I would suggest againt the straight pipes. It doesn't sound good at all on the LLT.

you cant hardly tell a difference in light intensity from the covers on or off. I couldnt believe how bright the lights were shining through with the covers on.
